Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 1, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Quiet Studio (“we”, “us”, or the “Service”) collects, uses, and safeguards your information. Quiet Studio is crafted by d9labs.io. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.
Information we collect
We aim to collect as little as possible. When you choose to sign in, we collect:
- Account information from your chosen login provider (Google or GitHub) — typically your name, email address, profile avatar, and a provider account identifier.
- Your content— the soundscape mixes (“environments”) you save and any focus session records you create.
- Technical data — limited information needed to keep you signed in, such as authentication session cookies.
You can browse and use the studio without an account; in that case no personal data is stored on our servers.
How we use your information
- To authenticate you and keep you signed in.
- To save, load, and sync your mixes and focus session history.
- To enable sharing of mixes you explicitly mark as public via a shareable link.
- To operate, maintain, and improve the Service.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Public sharing
When you mark a mix as public and share its link, the mix configuration (its name and sound levels) becomes accessible to anyone who has that link. Do not include sensitive or personal information in mix names you intend to share.
Third-party services
We rely on trusted third parties to operate the Service. These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms and privacy policies:
- Supabase — authentication and database hosting.
- Google and GitHub — OAuth sign-in providers.
- Google Analytics 4 — aggregate usage analytics (page views and a few non-identifying interaction events). We do not send your name, email, or mix names to it.
Data retention
We retain your account data and saved content for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see Contact below). Deleting your account removes your saved environments and session records.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.
Children’s privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
